Episode 15: Progress

I've been at it since about mid-day and it's now 10 past 9.00. Since Thursday I got about 8 minutes down, and today I got another 30. This came from 10 pages of A4. I've still got 5 pages' worth of recorded scene to edit down and I imagine it'll take about 3-4 hours. Then there's the bumpers, the music and all the rest of it - and I'm going out tomorrow afternoon - so it's looking like a full moon on Monday (in joke, all will be revealed ;-).

Worth the wait
Hey Mike, thanks for the update, didn't want you to think that I was meithering before, I'm like a kid waiting for christmas and patience is not my strong point but I'm working on it.
Hearing that it will be an hour long episode will definately be worth the wait, Please take sunday as your day of rest, Monday is for working.

Hmm, good idea, would that be a pint of the rich red stuff or (in my case today) the winter warming malted Oveltine (comfort drink I can get away with in work).

... and click on the image. You may need to renew your iTunes (or whatever) subscription. After a period of inactivity (and god knows I'm guilty of inflicting a few of those ;-) they dry up and need to be manually refreshed.
If you have Facebook, Momma, click on the link to the left and join the fan page - it's the surest way of receiving episode release updates... plus various ramblings about uncomfortable seats, sandwiches etc

OMG Mike Bennett... I finished One Among the Sleepless yesterday. I just could not stop listening. It was FABULOUS. I only started that one so I would have something to listen to while you were on your holiday from Underwood and Flinch episodes, but try as I did, I just couldn't stop listening to it.
What do I do now? Underwood and Flinch withdrawal, One Among the Sleepless withdrawal. Hmmmm, I see that there is another podiobook of yours just waiting for me to download...
Oh, and I think Hugh Jackman would be a good Underwood. Flinch would be... oh, what's that hobbit's name, I just can't think of it at the moment, but he would be so nice as an average sized David. Took me a while to think of those is why I didn't comment on them before.

Many thanks. Sorry to hear you're out of OAtS episodes already, but very glad to hear you enjoyed the ride. There's still Hall of Mirrors volumes 1 and 2 - and of course, Sometimes. I like Sometimes perhaps best of all - maybe because I can do anything at all in it and am not constrained by my own storyline. Weird?
Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman is a good call for Underwood, and I think you mean the guy who plays Charlie in Lost for Flinch. He'd be very good too. Now all we have to do is convince Hollywood that it's a better option than re-making yet another 70's slasher-flick.
