U&F 14 Re-touched

One of the disadvantages of working of working from page-to-podcast is occasionally something goes wrong (or more precisely, I f*** up) and I don't realise until a while later. The original episode 14 has a mistake in it relating to Arthur Flinch's car. I have now corrected that mistake and re-posted the episode. It's just a technical detail, but it's resulted in about four or five changed sentences. If you couldn't care less about Citroens you probably won't recognise the changes, but if you are a car nut, you will.

Mike, here in the states you can get $4500 if you turn in your "Old Clunker" to buy a new fuel efficient ride. It's called Cash for Clunkers. Is that old Citroen still running?

It's running beautifully thank you, Uncle. The reason I had to get the car thing cleared up correctly is that the car will be Underwood's ride in Part Two. He might want to trade it in as a clunker though, if you've heard the re-edit, you'll catch a hint about the fact that he didn't approve of the design. David however, loves it. A source of dispute ... well, should we say 'lesser dispute'; I think they already have quite a lot of major disputes ahead as it is ;-)
Citroen
The citroen doesn't have the Lord value for me I'm afraid (a friend has one and I hate driving it when she has been on too much of the sauce), it is inconspicuous though. I see the Master in something more classy like an Austin Martin or possibly a Morgan, once he is up and around he might like to look at these options, there is always the Cobra as well, something long and sweeping I hope.

Arthur's ride
You have to remember that the Citroen is Arthur's ride, Trillianne, not Underwood's. If you haven't listened to the re-done scene, you should. In it, we get the sense that Underwood agrees with you ;-)

Clunkers
On an eco-friendly approach to what Uncle Velvet said we have a similar scheme here in the UK, if your car is 10 years or older and you have owned it for at least 12 months you can trade it in and get £2k off a brand new eco friendly car, nice idea but I haven't seen one I like as they are all too small and boxy, give me curves. LOL

I need to catch up
I have a way to go, I'm 2 episodes behind you now on 7th son but I have almost finished the Heaven Series as far as been broadcast (book 5 is only half way through).
Will charge (or at least try to while the power is on) my pod and try and catch up

Driver Man
New name for hubby on here, I have downloaded all of Mikes stuff to his pod along with some other stuff and so far he hasn't had time, he is on standby tomorrow and Thursday so basically will be sat in the Mess room waiting incase someone doesn't turn in, I have advised him this is an excellent time to catch up and listen to some of his podcasts, he has almost 200 so will keep him busy.
Must get him to join the site really, watch out for Kebab (his nickname, long story)

Heaven part 7 series 2 . Underwood and Flinch is so fine. Listened to 15 again and adored it, and know 'gaggin; for 16. Lets hope MIKE gives us 16 before he goes on hoiday and has a lovely relaxing repose and comes back all rested and ready for book 2

We always stick together babe, what would I do without you.
So Glad you are enjoying the podio I suggested, having similar tastes I knew you would enjoy them, I think we have found some good one to tide us over Mikes hiatus and the break between the seasons.
We also have our midnight book club too and then their is the very big world wide web to search for more audio books, I have Mike to thank for opening that world up as before this I was traditional in the paper variety of books.
Well musy get on babe, Devil Child will be very upset if I don't get his bottles made up tonight.
