What is the usual time period between uploading it to your site and when it shows up in iTunes?

This is odd, maybe, or maybe not.
The episode appeared in my RSS feed exactly on time at 10.00 pm last night UK time (5.00 pm NY time). When it appeared, I linked to it - the episode link here goes directly to the RSS feed.
My iTunes feed is different however. My RSS feed is linked to iTunes, but iTunes update their feeds (and so pick up and make available my new episode) at certain times known only to them. In other words, just because my RSS feed has a new episode in it, that doesn't mean it will available from iTunes immediately. There can be a delay of hours between the episode becoming available from me and becoming available from iTunes. As I say, the delay time is a mystery, sometimes I think its completely random. I just checked the iTunes feed and I see that Episode 2 is still not showing 9.5 hours after my releasing it.
I guess if you want to get the show the second it's available from me, you need to come here and download direct :-)

Yours are the only podcasts that I go through the extra effort of downloading and importing into iTunes manually because I simply can't wait for them to show up the regular way. The places you choose to break the podcasts ensure that I will be in torture until I can get another fix. You are an evil, evil man! ;-)

26 hours
It's now 26 hours after I released U&F 2 and neither U.S. or U.K. iTunes are registering the episode.
I wonder how long this is going to take?
I found an "inside joke" in UF episode 2
When they were at the alchol meeting a man said "I'm Peter and I'm an alchololic" (I think thats what he said) but it was in the same voice as the Peter from One Among The Sleepless!

I have a theory but I wont say, dont want to give anything away. If I am right, that is.
Anyway it was another great episode. Like I have said before, I love your writing style. Like even though there weren't any deaths in this episode :) The way you bring your characters alive, with your writing and your voices makes your stories awesome, even with out all the lovely gore. Your stories are like listening to a real life recording that someone made while hanging around some entertaining people.
Steve I think it was, (I'm bad at remembering names even after listening to it 2x) from the AA meeting. Was totally cracking me up.
